MOBILE COFFEE STATION

A theoretical design for a mobile coffee station that is self-contained. Located at Superkilen Park in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen, Denmark, the coffee station was meant to work as beacon for the participants of the park. The site, designed by BIG architecture, is designed to bring refugees and locals together, promoting tolerance in one of Denmark's most ethnically-diverse and socially-challenged communities. We wanted the station to be a node on the massive connective tissue of the existing park.
