The new Whole Foods Market in Montgomery Township, New Jersey introduces a 45,000-square-foot grocery destination within the Montgomery Promenade shopping center. Featuring more than 1,000 local products sourced from over 250 Northeast suppliers, the store pairs a regionally focused assortment with a distinct sense of place. Its collegiate-inspired design pays homage to nearby Princeton through distressed white shiplap and a rich palette of green, blazer blue, and black.

STUDIOGEE partnered with Whole Foods Market to guide the project through Spatial Design, Fixture Planning, and Design Development. Thoughtful coordination of department adjacencies, customer flow, sightlines, and fixture placement supports intuitive navigation across the store’s fresh, prepared, specialty, and everyday grocery offerings. The result is a cohesive, high-functioning retail environment designed to serve the Montgomery Township community while reflecting the character of its surroundings.
